Most of us had a really bad time while reading in the white background long time, whether it’s a pdf book or something else. However, we can set our PDF’s background as black or any other color, which will be good for the eyes at least. Adobe Reader has a feature to change the background color easily. Follow the instruction below to change the background color for the PDF you are viewing.
So next time you open the pdf it will change the colors for you.
- Click on the preferences menu
- Under the Categories select Accessibility
- Put a tick next to Replace Document Color
- Choose Custom Color and select the Page Background Color
- Click Ok
Note: This will not apply to all the pdf files, as it depends on how the PDF was created. For example, a pdf embedded with images will be capable of changing the background color texts. However, this will be good solution for e-books, tutorials – which will be long read for people.
